With one week until Remembrance Day this has been a time in Canadian history that has seen heightened pride in being citizens of this great land.
The two recent and very tragic deaths of Corporal Nathan Cirillo and Warrant Officer Patrice Vincent have connected this country, from coast to coast, in a way that few events have. The wave of emotion is a reminder that as much as we may differ from region to region, we are all proud Canadians, and are united by our love of this country.
We deeply respect everyone who has stood up for what they love and believe in.
Wear a poppy for all of the great Canadians who serve and have served as peace keepers, and for all of the brave men and women, each and every one of them a hero, whose lives have been lost.
Lest We Forget.
