I went for a walk in beautiful Steveston today. On this last day of the summer the morning started off chilly but with the sun shining it has turned out to be simply gorgeous. Garry Point's light and colours were so inspiring that I wished I was a painter (see photo). The smell of fall is in the air, and I breathed in the lovely, fragrant rose hips along the Britannia Shipyard boardwalk. I came upon a group of painters at Britannia, capturing the heritage buildings and the boats on their canvases. People were smiling as they walked, obviously seizing the day, not knowing when the weather will turn, and drinking in every last minute of this gorgeous Steveston summer.
